This is pale indigo organic cotton shirting from Japanese Mill Nihon Menpu. It is soft, light and can be sewn up using either side of the fabric. One side is paler with a slubby striated texture. The other is darker and has a cross-hatch texture. It would be lovely in a denim shirt, summer jumpsuit, full length dress, pjs, (almost) anything goes!

Key Information
Nihon Menpu produces it's artisanal denims in the Ibara region of Japan; which is rich in indigo and cotton production. Nihon Menpu has been producing denim using vegetable and indigo dyeing based on the bingokasuri technique. Yarns are hand dyed and denims are carefully woven creating an original texture. Nihon Menpu is recognized for their pride in craftsmanship.
