Over the weekend, participants will dive into sewing The Matchy Matchy Sewing Club -  Collage Gathered Dress. Join us for a weekend filled with creativity, and camaraderie!

This workshop is perfect if you’re looking to get back into sewing garments or if you’re taking your sewing to the next level. Beginners are welcome! The only pre-requisites are that you have a sewing machine and can operate it and sew straight lines.

The Collage Gather Dress from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club is a wardrobe staple! It includes sizes XXS (34" hip) to a 6XL (67" hip). The dress has a relaxed boxy fit with soft gathers on the side for a little extra shape and movement. It includes hidden inseam pockets and comes with multiple dress lengths marked directly on the pattern from mini to maxi. Designed to be sewn as a patchwork or with a single fabric, it is fun to sew, easily customizable and comes together quickly.

With all Matchy Matchy sewing patterns, the Collage Gather Dress is designed to have simple shapes and easy construction to take the overwhelm out of sewing and to help you find the joy of discovery.

I have dedicated over a decade teaching sewing, weaving and textile crafts. My true passion is watching students come to life with new ideas and push their learning boundaries! My approach is casual and I encourage you to embrace mistakes as a learning opportunity; it is tough learning something new!

Outside the classroom, I’m always on a quest to explore new textile methods or plan my next project. I’m committed to embracing the textiles community and love being a part of the stories that unfold along the way.
